About KNA INSPECTIONS

Over a decade of experience assisting taxpayers and builders with Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code (UCC) compliance.

KNA Inspections was created when Bradford Township reached out to Michael Cleveland in 2022 while searching for someone to provide UCC services for the township residents. Their long-time UCC inspector had announced his plans to retire, and they were experiencing difficulty finding a replacement who could continue to provide these services at reasonable rates.

Whereas the same inspector who served Bradford Township also served several other communities throughout McKean County, his retirement was going to be a significant hardship for a large portion of McKean County. While the municipalities around the City of Bradford could potentially contract with the city, other municipalities weren't so lucky as to have a neighbor with the required certified personnel on staff.

After much consideration, Michael elected to create KNA Inspections, with plans of eventually building the company to the point where he could leave his full-time job behind and dedicate 100% of his time to serving his local communities.

About Michael:

Michael achieved certification with the International Code Council in 2009 and obtained certification through the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry shortly after that.  He was named as the Building Code Official for the City of Bradford in 2011 and has been involved in every aspect of local UCC enforcement since then, including administration, plan review, and inspections.
